On July 26, two Somalian refugees were arrested at a Tucson, AZ airport after having been in communication with an undercover FBI agent under the guise of helping them make travel arrangements to fly off to Egypt – where the two men planned to carry out terrorist acts on behalf of ISIS!
According to the FBI agent that communicated with them prior to their arrest, the two men made some very scary, disturbing statements, including that if their travel plans fell through, they would instead carry out a terrorist attack right there in Tucson.
One of the men also reportedly expressed desire to become “the beheading guy” after they made it overseas and made clear his desire to “achieve martyrdom” by claiming “the best wake-up call is Islamic State to get another victory or another 9/11.”
Scary, crazy stuff. One can only imagine what would have happened had the FBI not put an end to their plans.
