Obama’s ICE Chief: Cages For Migrant Kids Were From Obama Administration!

He would know!

In a newsflash to Dems calling the border detention facilities “concentration camps”, former ICE Chief under the Obama administration, Thomas Homan poked a hole in their persistent delusion about Trump being the bad guy by declaring this statement:

Those cages for children at the border that Dems constantly berate President Trump over and cite as evidence of his heartlessness and hatred of migrants were actually Obama’s, not Trump’s, idea.

I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” said Homan at an immigration conference held earlier today to discuss who Trump’s new border chief will be.

Check out news of this breaking statement made by the former border chief that is blowing up on Twitter:

The Washington Examiner has more details on Homan's claim:

Former President Barack Obama’s top immigration chief in charge of removing illegal immigrants said that the “cages” Democrats have accused President Trump of housing children in were the brainchild of the Obama administration.

“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” said Thomas Homan, who was Obama’s executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for nearly four years.

At an immigration conference today, Homan, under consideration for a new position of “border czar” in the Trump administration, grew visibly angry answering a question about “cages” often cited by Democratic critics of the president.

Homan, who ran Obama’s successful deportation operation, ripped Democrats who question Trump immigration officials on the Obama-era idea.

He cited one Democratic chairman who asked a Trump official, “You still keeping kids in cages?”

Homan, at the conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies, said, “I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being house in the same facility built under the Obama administration.’ If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.”

The Daily Wire also had the following to say about it:

The man who was the Obama administration’s chief of removing illegal immigrants said on Wednesday that it was his boss, President Barack Obama, who had the idea of putting illegal immigrant children in the “cages” that Democrats have used as a bludgeon against President Trump.

Thomas Homan, Obama’s executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement between May 2013 and January 2017, was responsible for “promoting public safety and national security by maintaining direct oversight of critical ICE programs and operations to identify, locate, arrest, detain and remove illegal aliens from the United States,” according to his LinkedIn profile. Since January 2017, he has served as Acting Director for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

He stated on Wednesday, “I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” according to The Washington Examiner.

And yet, despite this truth bomb, Dems continue to pursue the false narrative that Trump is evil in his mission to end the illegal immigration crisis plaguing America.

Ryan Saavedra made this critical point about Biden's answer to a question on illegal immigration during the Democrat debates last night:
