Ocasio-Cortez Says we Shouldn’t Show the Public Photos of 9/11 Anymore

First, the Left attacked our statues. Whether from the Civil War, Revolutionary War, or anywhere in between, there was something wrong with the statues, and they had to be torn down. They offended someone. They marginalized someone. They hurt someone’s feelings. So, the statues had to go.

Next, the Left attacked our flags. Whether it was the Confederate flag, or Old Glory, or anything in between, there was something wrong with the flags, and they had to be taken down. They offended someone. They marginalized someone. They hurt someone’s feelings. So, the flags had to go.

Then, the Left attacked our national anthem. It was racist, they said; their favorite excuse in the book. So, it had to be changed or it had to stop being played in public and at events.

Now, the Left, led by freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), are attacking our modern history, specifically 9/11.

They want to erase our history, because it doesn’t fit their globalist narrative and their one-world agenda.

When it comes to 9/11, Ocasio-Cortez thinks that the public should not be shown images of the attack, nor should they be told to never forget the tragedy that occurred.

“The levels which Republicans and conservative groups — whether they are official party apparatuses — sending out emails calling me and others domestic terrorists, or whether it’s Rupert Murdoch and the New York Post printing on the front page to circulate all around New York City an image that is incredibly upsetting and triggering for New Yorkers that were actually there,” the New York Democrat told reporters.

Triggering of what? The truth?

Almost 3000 Americans died in what remains the largest and most devastating attack since Pearl Harbor. I, for one, will never forget. Never forget is a promise, not some slogan, not “some people saying something.”

According to The Federalist:

Indeed, Ocasio-Cortez now wants to hide behind the notion that reminding people of the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks is wrong because it is “triggering.”

No one on the right was rubbing the noses of leftists like Omar and Ocasio-Cortez in the 9/11 attacks until Omar decided to trivialize them and people like Ocasio-Cortez decided to defend Omar. “Never forget” is an entirely appropriate response, no matter how much the left wants to squeal about it.

Here is the real problem with this woman: Our youth in college today has been taught that the greatest attribute to have is being the victim. Being a victim means you are justified to be angry, nothing is your fault, you are responsible for nothing, and everyone owes you. The real difficulty facing many of these young people is trying to find a way that allows them to be a victim. Some responses to this challenge are comical.

One of the best is AOC who was raised in an upper middle-class environment where she was left wanting for little. Now, she is demanding to be in charge, as she continually shows her ignorance,  and her inability to make intelligent decisions. She abuses the system, hurts her constituents, and more.

Now that this child is coming under fire for her immature and rather bad behavior, she cannot accept responsibility for her own actions just as she cannot accept how anyone could find her opinions wanting so her only recourse is to claim herself a victim.

This reaction to self identify as a victim is so ingrained that it requires her to belittle others who have made remarkable sacrifices for fellow patriots and our nation, suffered for those sacrifices, never view themselves as victims, and who dare to be white and male.

What Ilhan Omar, AOC, and others on the radical Left are doing today, with their constant demands based on victimization and such, is showing the world how transparently corrupt, hypocritical, self serving, etc., their thinking and values are.

These elitists want it all their way, and they do not care who they hurt, who they demean, or who they make suffer to get it. Should they be reelected, then their districts deserve every ill and plague these children bring down upon them.
