New Motion To OUST Nancy Pelosi From House Speaker Gains Steam!

Pelosi needed to be gone yesterday.

Still, here we are years later suffering from her abuse of power, but that may soon change!

Calls for a motion to remove Pelosi as Speaker of The House are reportedly growing, and sources point out The Freedom Caucus even sent a letter to Rep. Kevin McCarthy pressuring him to file a motion for her removal.

Rep. Biggs is also pressing to remove Pelosi, as she faces attacks from multiple fronts.

Call me optimistic, but I think Pelosi’s reign is at its end. The GOP is hellbent on removing her, and Democrat voters aren’t all that crazy about her either—they merely tolerate her.

This is some of the pushback Pelosi is facing right now:

The Hill reports:

A bloc of House conservatives on Friday pressed Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to force a floor vote by next week to oust Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for blocking two Republicans from serving on the special committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Such a vote on what’s known as a “motion to vacate the chair” would be quickly rejected by Democrats, who control the majority, and some moderate Republicans.

But the one-page letter from the ultraconservative House Freedom Caucus represents a test for McCarthy, who likely will need Freedom Caucus support in his quest to secure 218 votes and become speaker if Republicans win back the House in 2022.

An opinion piece featured in The New York Post suggests that Pelosi is on her last legs:

The fact that all this venom is packaged in the shape of a small, elderly, expensively shod woman has bestowed upon her an element of deference her actions do not deserve. But last week there were a couple of signs that she’s finally worn out her welcome.

One was her game-playing over the Jan. 6 select committee, when she arbitrarily rejected two Republicans — Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana — from an already stacked panel.

She claimed “integrity” required her veto since the two Republicans had “made statements and taken actions that I think would impact the integrity of the committee.”

Hah. This is a committee that includes such models of integrity as Adam “Steele Dossier” Schiff.

Pelosi is scared of Jordan and Banks, even though she has the majority. That’s the real reason. She is afraid they will bring to the committee, on behalf of the American people it is supposed to represent, the very reasonable question about her own culpability in the events of Jan. 6. Most obviously, what was her reason for leaving the Capitol Police outnumbered and unprotected?
