Trump Predicts Dem 2020 Finalists, and He Even Gives them Nicknames

President Trump just offered us his opinion of who he thinks will be the two Democratic presidential candidate ‘finalists’ in the 2020 race. He’s even given them each a new nickname.

On Tuesday night, President Trump predicted that Senator Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden would be the two left standing on the left, battling to become the Democrats’ nominee.

President Trump took to twitter and wrote “I believe it will be Crazy Bernie Sanders vs. Sleepy Joe Biden as the two finalists to run against maybe the best Economy in the history of our Country (and MANY other great things)! I look forward to facing whoever it may be. May God Rest Their Soul!”

According to Fox News:

President Trump offered his thoughts Tuesday night on which two Democratic contenders he thinks will be left standing in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

Out of the crowded pool of contenders, Trump predicted on Twitter that former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders will be the final two in the battle to be the party’s nominee.

“I believe it will be Crazy Bernie Sanders vs. Sleepy Joe Biden as the two finalists to run against maybe the best Economy in the history of our Country (and MANY other great things)!” he wrote. “I look forward to facing whoever it may be. May God Rest Their Soul!”

While Sanders, I-Vt., confirmed in February that he would be running again for president, Biden has yet to formally enter the race.

President Trump’s tweet came right on the heels of another tweet in which he targeted Senator Sanders (I-VT), focusing on Sanders’ finances:

99.9% Fine Silver MAGA Collector Coins!

Crazy Bernie and Sleepy Joe. One thing’s for sure: President Trump sure knows how to brand! I mean, who doesn’t remember Low Energy Jeb, or Low IQ Maxine, or Pocahontas Warren?

Somehow, Sanders interpreted all of this as President Trump being afraid of his campaign:

It might be worth reminding Bernie here that, to date, in the first 3 months of reelection campaigning, President Trump has raised over $30 million, far outpacing his Democratic contenders.

Oh, Crazy Bernie…
