Jeff Bridges Is Rooting for President Trump

Thank you Jeff Bridges!

I always thought he was a cool Dude.  The Big Lebowski himself is on record as saying he’s rooting for our President.

If you agree with him, please LIKE + SHARE this article!

This is an especially cool story because Bridges supported Hillary in the election.  But after the election was over, Bridges is an American at heart.  He understands that if Trump succeeds, the country succeeds.  If Trump fails, America fails.  This is what a true patriot does!

And I’m willing to venture that by the time Trump ends his first term, Bridges won’t just be supporting him because he’s the president….he’ll be supporting him because he Made America Great Again!  As will millions of other people.  Watch, it is already starting to happen!

Here’s more on the story, from The Hill:

Actor Jeff Bridges, renowned for his roles as a president in the film “The Contender” and as The Dude in “The Big Lebowski,” said he is “rooting” for President Trump as “a human being.”

“I’m rooting for him to do well by our country,” Bridges told The Associated Press in an interview published Wednesday.

“I’m rooting for him as a human being to do the cool thing,” he added, after saying other people who were upset by the election result would be “blatantly out there talking about their disappointments and ridiculing the way President Trump is acting.”

Bridges, who supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign, told the news outlet that every person has “something different and unique to contribute to society and with different ways of doing it.”

His accepting views come after a string of celebrities, including comedian Kathy Griffin and actor Johnny Depp, have made violent jokes or allusions to assassinating Trump in recent weeks.

The actor, who is involved in combating childhood hunger, expressed concern about the administration’s proposed cuts to federal food assistance programs, saying they could adversely affect the well-being of children.

Bridges founded End Hunger Network in 1983, and in 2010 he became an ambassador and public face for the “No Kid Hungry” campaign, which works to help struggling families with food insecurity.

“The health of our children is a wonderful compass that can tell us if our country is going the right direction,” he told the AP. “That means we’re off course, so I’m rooting for the president to get on course.”
