Developing: The Infamous Trump “Access Hollywood” Tapes May Not Be Authentic!

Trump to be exonerated again?

In a wild, developing story, it appears as thought President Trump may now be saying the infamous Access Hollywood tapes where he (allegedly) makes some regrettable comments about grabbing women by the p***y may, in fact, not be authentic!

This brings up all sorts of questions, such as:  Why did he take responsibility for those comments on the campaign trail?

My thought is that the master chess player knew he could not let this become an albatross during the campaign.  He knew that if he disputed it, it would remain in the news for days and weeks and likely tank his campaign.  So he made the calculated decision to simply apologize for it and move on.  Smart.

Now, with sex scandals taking down just about everyone in Washington and Hollywood, it looks like Trump might like to clear his name after all.

Wouldn’t this just be something if it really was proven to be a fake?

Can you imagine…..one year later and just about the only person in Washington to NOT have a sex scandal is one Mr. Donald J. Trump.  What a turn of events from just one year ago.

I can’t wait to see if this is proven true!

Here’s more on the developing story….

Trump Reportedly Denies the Tape's Authenticity

From the NY Times:

What the president did not foresee was that the friction would reach inside his immediate family. He vented his annoyance when his daughter Ivanka castigated Mr. Moore by saying there was “a special place in hell for people who prey on children,” according to three staff members who heard his comments.

“Do you believe this?” Mr. Trump asked several aides in the Oval Office. Mr. Moore’s Democratic opponent in the Alabama race, Doug Jones, quickly turned her comments into a campaign ad.

But something deeper has been consuming Mr. Trump. He sees the calls for Mr. Moore to step aside as a version of the response to the now-famous “Access Hollywood” tape, in which he boasted about grabbing women’s genitalia, and the flood of groping accusations against him that followed soon after. He suggested to a senator earlier this year that it was not authentic, and repeated that claim to an adviser more recently. (In the hours after it was revealed in October 2016, Mr. Trump acknowledged that the voice was his, and he apologized.)

Liberal Heads Explode!

Chris Cuomo may not survive this story, as I think his head might have already popped off!  From The Week:

CNN's Chris Cuomo was unable to contain himself following recent reports that President Trump is now privately sowing doubts about the authenticity of an Access Hollywood tape in which he lewdly boasts about groping women. Trump had admitted in 2016 that it was him on the tape, saying: "I said it. I was wrong. And I apologize."

A visibly frustrated Cuomo told his colleagues: "He really might believe that it's not authentic. I think it is way more troubling than it is getting credit for. I don't think that this is an offhand comment by him. I think he believes this will work with people."

As for himself, Cuomo had no doubts at all: "That is him on that tape! Okay? That's who it is. He said what he said. He even kind of owned it."

Cuomo explained that Trump's theoretical lie is "scary" because "if he will go to that level of saying, 'yeah, maybe that's fake,' what else will he say that about that's not as clear cut?" Watch the rant below, beginning at 5:50
